Here are some pages from a book my friend Matthew Sabloff designed where he used some of my dialogues about the Internet.
Matthew's description of the project:
"Dataobject is a design
fiction that explores our evolving relationship to objects in the near future.
This project imagines a world where technology and global conditions shift our
attention to the intangible attributes objects. What if all the objects we
value and use could tell us their histories? How would that alter contemporary
material culture? Dataobject imagines a future where our notions of value are
flipped; an object’s embedded data will determine its value, prior to its
physical properties and utility."
