AAH - Framing space through architecture and film

Excited to announce that Hannah Paveck and I will be convening a session at the AAH Annual Conference 2018 to be held at the Courtauld Institute of Art and King's College London called 'Framing space through architecture and film'. CFP to come.

About Me

I am originally from Montreal, Canada and now live in Sheffield, UK. I work in children's social care policy. I'm a book worm.

I have a PhD in History of Art from the University of York (UK). My thesis explored the dialogue between modernist photography and abstraction (1914-1930). I examined atmospheres in photographs through a formalist-phenomenological methodology. Feminism/women's art, art in remote places and the intersection of art and ecology are also important to me.

I have a BA at McGill University in Art History and World Cinemas and an MA in History of Art at UCL. My masters thesis focused on the 1967 Fogo Island Challenge for Change documentaries.
